Life has a way of reminding us of what truly matters. On my way to take my daughter to school, I had a powerful flashback to a time in my life when I was fighting for my health—fighting for my life. It was a moment that brought me face-to-face with my past struggles and reminded me of the strength, resilience, and divine grace that have carried me to where I am today.

The Fight for My Health

n 2016, I faced one of the most challenging periods of my life. I was severely ill, losing 20 to 25 kilograms. My body became unrecognizable—my muscles vanished, my face hollowed out, and my ribs and bones became painfully visible. Each time I stepped on the scale and saw 45 or 47 kilograms, tears filled my eyes.

One day, I saw a picture of myself during that time, and I was terrified by what I saw. It felt like I was looking at a stranger—a shadow of the person I used to be. But despite the physical toll, something deep within me refused to give up.

What Kept Me Going

During those dark days, I turned to natural remedies—plants and fruits—to support my immune system. But beyond the physical treatments, it was my unwavering faith in God that gave me hope. I connected deeply with my soul and spirit, praying for healing and promising that if I recovered, I would dedicate my life to making it meaningful and valuable.

With the love, attention, and support of my family—especially my mother—I began treatment that not only restored my body but also reignited my hope for the future. Today, as I reflect on those moments, I feel an immense gratitude for this second chance at life.

A Dream Worth Pursuing

I’ve always dreamed of becoming a successful entrepreneur—a businesswoman who creates positive change in the lives of others. While I don’t yet know exactly how this dream will unfold, I am preparing myself every day.

I’m currently pursuing a BBA certification while taking additional training courses like AWS Cloud Practitioner and startup founder programs. These experiences are helping me build the knowledge and skills needed to create something innovative that benefits society.

However, as I hear speeches from influential figures like Elon Musk—who says we don’t need university degrees to succeed—and examples like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett who took unconventional paths to greatness, I sometimes question whether I’m on the right track. Am I wasting my time at university?

Turning Knowledge into Impact

This question has led me to think deeply about how to combine everything I’m learning into something meaningful. My vision is to create a comprehensive program that equips aspiring entrepreneurs with both academic knowledge and personal transformation tools.

This program would go beyond traditional education by focusing on:

I believe entrepreneurship is not just about starting businesses—it’s a journey of self-discovery where creativity and innovation are born from understanding who we are at our core.

Staying Focused on What Matters

As I approach 40 years old, this self-discovery journey has become more important than ever. I want to focus on what truly matters—my dreams, values, and purpose—and eliminate distractions that pull me away from this path. God has given me a second chance at life, and I am determined to use it wisely to achieve greatness.

What challenges have shaped your journey? How have you discovered your purpose through adversity? Take a moment today to reflect on your own story—your struggles, your victories, and the dreams you’re working toward.
